Super-handy app for designers.

xScope is simply a great app for designers, photographers, or anyone else doing pixel-perfect work. Like a good color-picker (and one is included in xScopes Loupe tool), having a utility to measure dimensions is vital for people working in graphics, or at least it is to me. Now instead of exporting and switching to Photoshop to get dimensions, I just use xScope, which has been running quietly in the corner of my iMac since I purchased it. So much cool stuff here. Worth every penny. (And for just 199 more pennies you can get the xScope Mirror app for iOS to preview graphics in real time on your iOS device or Apple Watch. I dont even do iOS development and bought it just to play around.)

Do make sure though to read the note about Retina displays that Iconfactory provides, since that obvioulsy complicates measuring pixels. xScope still works perfectly, but you may need to change a preference depending on your usage.
